The Black Gem – Epic Metal Album Cover Artwork | Magic Opera

The Black Gem is an epic metal album cover I created for the Italian epic metal band Magic Opera.
The artwork features a mysterious black gemstone held by a dark, clawed hand. Cracks within the gem reveal an intense red glow, surrounded by a luminous occult sigil. The dark red and black palette creates a dramatic atmosphere inspired by dark fantasy, magic, and supernatural themes. The composition was designed to capture the powerful and cinematic visual identity of epic metal music while creating a striking album cover.
